In preparation for National Single Parent Day on March 21st, ASPSF is releasing a new video of its beneficiaries. Below, Cynthia shares how ASPSF has helped her focus more on her studies and family.

“My name is Cynthia Thomas. I am a recipient of the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund. I am currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in business administration and supply chain logistics.

Before receiving this grant, I was a full-time student, full-time employee, part-time DoorDash worker, and full-time mom. I was able to quit DoorDash completely and focus solely on my kids. I get to go to more football games and watch my daughter cheer. I’ve been able to spend more time with my kids and feel a little more secure than before.

It’s knowing that someone is going to invest this much money and this much time into you and process your application. So I’m really grateful to this program and its staff. Thank you very much. “
