In preparation for National Single Parent Day on March 21st, ASPSF is releasing a new video of its beneficiaries. Below, Jennifer shares how she shared the new knowledge she gained at school and at ASPSF workshops with children and others in her community.
“Hello, my name is Jennifer Harris and the scholarship has helped me in ways I could never have imagined.
Single parent scholarships are good because they not only provide funds, but they also fill your head with knowledge and wisdom that no one else knows, which in turn energizes local people and energizes society. I feel that this is true. If I know something and can provide it, I’ll share it. That’s how we help each other.
And I truly love all that the Single Parent Scholarship offers and gives to single parents who are trying to set a good example for their children and future generations of young people.
I am so grateful for the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship. thank you. “
